The reading club for language learners who want to read and discuss literature in English.

This club requires advanced English skills to be able to participate in group discussions.

What it is

The English Story Club is a 4-week reading and discussion group that meets 1 time per week for 1.5 hours each time

Payment for the club includes 4 short stories and 4 weeks of access to discussion groups

What it offers

Online meetings so you can participate from anywhere in the world.
4 short stories by acclaimed authors. We provide the stories at the beginning of the course, so you can read at your own pace.
A community of literature lovers and language learners to engage in discussion with.
A native-English instructor who will guide the discussion and put the stories in cultural context.

The November - December 2025 sessions will focus on a sampling of acclaimed women writers, spanning the 1960s - 2010s

CLP 50.000 for 4 sessions (1.5 hours each) [$50 for US participants]

The upcoming club dates are:

November 27 (19:00 - 20:30 CLST)

December 4 (19:00 - 20:30 CLST)

December 11 (19:00 - 20:30 CLST)

December 18 (19:00 - 20:30 CLST)

Participants

Maximum 12 participants in each session to ensure everyone gets a chance to speak

Payments

To hold your place in the English Club, payment is required before the course begins.

To register for the upcoming session:

Afterward, we will send you the details so that you can pay and hold your place.

Payments accepted:

Bank transfers in Chile
International payments via Wise (you must have a Wise account, and a small currency conversion fee will apply)
US payments via PayPal (you must have a US PayPal account)

*Please note that we do not issue partial refunds for missed sessions. You will receive all 4 stories prior to the first meeting, so you'll still be able to read and access all the stories, even if you miss a group discussion.
